You see it everyday in your inbox,  “get in now new company in pre-launch.” I guess people don’t stop and think about it. Most new companies, in fact about 90% don’t make it past the first year and of the ones that make it a year, most of those don’t make it past 4 years.

So why would anyone want to spend all their time and effort building something that has a good chance of not making it? I guess it’s that dream of being in the one company that will make it big and then they think they will have it made.

If you check the people that are starting these new companies, most haven’t done anything with networking marketing before and therefore don’t know anything about what it takes to run a network marketing company. So when they find they need more money to keep the company going where do you think they are going to come up with that extra money? From what they are paying out in commissions to the distributors.

This has happened so many times in other companies. They change the pay plan so the distributor gets less and less and the company gets to keep more. Oh they say it’s to help the distributor, but if you check it out it’s usually to get the company more money to cover their overhead.

So the next time you see a new company just starting out and think to yourself this sounds like it is really going to be the next best thing to hit the Internet stop and ask yourself, do I really want to spend my time and effort building something that may not be here in a year or should I look for a company that has been around for at least five years with a good track record?
